She then went on to publish a two book Christmas series about "Boomer and Skatch". All of Brendas books are for children ages two to five. The books are about caring, sharing, loving, giving and helping. Brenda continues to write and has plans for many more published books.
Brenda's inspiration for writing started during her high school years. She enjoyed reading and would pick up different writing techniques and her unique way of storytelling. On long family road trips she would make up stories to tell her children to keep them entertained.
Brenda writes from her heart and imagination. She enjoys watching children's faces light up while reading one of her books. Her hope is that her reader's will learn how important caring, sharing, loving, giving and helping truely are.
